Centre for International Success
2003 - 2009

The centre developed artistic and educational projects in collaboration with individuals and organisations, often in parasitic or other symbiotic relationships. Set up in 2003, the centre itself evolved an ambiguous identity, at times a pure abstraction - part of a story, at other times operating practically to deliver collaborative artistic or educational projects. It had no fixed address and roved between architectural and civic spaces, in conjunction with other inititives

In later years the centre worked closely with Artist House in Leeds, Grizedale Arts in Cumbria, University of Leeds and Leeds College of Art. The centre produced events, exhibitions, research, education, artefacts and artworks. Many of these were mediated and re-told as images and narratives often through posters and online. Project documentation slipped into fictive photo-shoot, or lifestyle editorial
